Hi Chuck, there are several options here. So we can take a look at your AV28 console's CD player and hopefully get it working, please contact our support team. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You could use this Bose amp, but it would only be for stereo sound not for surround sound. You could always get another receiver, such as Denon Onkyo Sony to get surroundsound, but you would need to add in a center channel speaker as well and you could use the speakers in the ceiling for front left front right surround surround right
