We would not recommend leaving the speaker plugged in outside.

First off let me say it’s not good to have electrical equipment plugged in, When outside, secondly if you have a good charge on the battery it lasts a long time pretty much all day. I don’t know how long or how often you planning to have it plugged in outside, but rule of thumb is to take care of your equipment and it will last much longer. Hope this is helpful probably not.
