• Make sure you have the one for IPhone there two different kinds one for iPhone and Android.

• Jana, have you tried another set of headphones in your iPhone 5 ? Have you tried the QuietComfort 20 headphones in another device? There are a number of things that could be preventing the auxiliary cord from fitting properly into your phone.
