• There is a three button remote on this headset.

• Four buttons on the remote and one button /switch on the battery. Don't buy these if you want to use them for hands free calling. They pick up too much ambient noise. Worst headphones I have ever had for this purpose.

• There are 4 buttons. One, on the side, is to let sounds pass through noise cancellation (i.e. someone tries to speak to you or you want to listen to an announcement). The other three are for volume up, volume down, and the function button to skip to the next track, pause, or repeat a track depending on the number of times you press it.
