I'd probably go with the over ear version as it offers better noise blocking when it's running out of battery, but it's just a personal preference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They both offer great noise canceling but it is all down to weather you wear glasses or not. If you are looking for better noise canceling and you have glasses i would recommend the i20 due to the fact that with glasses frames being that they can allow some sound through the crack when you have the headphones on. And another thing to consider is convenience. Headphones are larger but they are less annoying due to the noise canceling function to be built inside the headphones however the earphones have a device hanging from the cord so it can get quite annoying at times.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sound quality will remain the same, but the noise cancel feature will not quite work as well with the in ear, because there is a better seal with the over the ear. Tried both and bought the over the ear. Way better noise canceling.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I prefer the QC25 because I grew up with headphones instead of earbuds as the norm. They are also lightweight enough that they are not a concern when I wear them for extended periods of time. (My longest was probably a 10+ hour flight so far.) My kids have the 20i's and they like them a lot. Of course they grew up with ear buds and do not prefer headphones for the most part. (They cannot listen to loud music with the ear buds as easily as they can with the headphones.) I also like that I can pull out the music cable and still have noise cancelling headphones as I walk in an airplane. With the earbuds you cannot do that so you have to either remove them from your ears, disconnect from your power source (and get no noise cancelling) or take your power source with you. The latter can be done unless you are using say the airplane AV system. You should consider your typical use cases and try out both before you decide.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my mind, it's not even a comparison. The over-ear noise canceling is almost inexplicable in its experience. You feel like you're in another world when listening to even the most drab content.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends what you are using them for. QF25 are great for traveling on airplanes and keeping noise out. I would not recommend them for running. If i were to use in ear ones, I'd use them only for running or exercising as I hate anything in my ear.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would go with the QF if you are going to spend the money on headphones, especially if you will be using them with any type of noise around you. Best noise cancelling I have found.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 20io is the older model and the QF25 is the newer. While there are minor improvements in various areas, the most significant is that in the QF25, when the battery dies, the headphone continue to operate as headphones without the noise cancelling, while on the 20i if the batter dies, the headphones quit working and cannot be used as normal headphones..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not tried the ear 20i but like the canceling of the full ear models. It would seem they would do a better job of canceling noise, if that is your concern
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would go with the Quiet Comfort over the head headphones. Works well everywhere even in airplanes. I love it's noise cancelling feature the most
