QuestionHow a thunder clap is heard through the QC35s? I read unfortunately that ANC range can't cancell all loud noises (to certain decibel and frequency level), but the headphones have a passive isolation with the earpads. Loud music or white noise can help?

- Answer Hello JGS1995, thank you for your question. You are correct. Though the technology is fantastic, it does have limits. Where the active noise canceling reaches its limits you still have the passive attenuation provided by the ear cushions. QuestionCan I disable Bluetooth, with ANC on, if I don't want to listen to anything or does the wire always have to be connected to disable Bluetooth? Want to extend battery life if I am sleeping during long flights.

- Answer Yes. I don't use B/T most of the time and have noticed that I can turn the ANC on when I am walking to another room to get my iPod, and it is immediately active. In this scenario, I am anticipating using the corded connection, so I know for a fact that B/T is not connected, and neither is the cord.

QuestionI've recently purchase a pair of Bose and it seem like it has the feature to pair with multiple devices. Is there a way for me to keep it to myself when in public? I would hate it to hear people pair with my headphones since they are invading my privacy.

You can use the standard audio cable to connect these headphones to the inflight entertainment system and access both the movie audio and music channels. On some airplanes, you can plug the cable directly into the in-flight entertainment system’s audio jack. Other airplanes have a dual audio jack, so you will need to plug the cable into the dual plug adapter before connecting to the airplane audio jack. Depending on the aircraft, you may also want to use the included attenuating adapter for greater volume control.

- Answer Yes, you can use it without pairing it to cancel out sound. It doesn't cancel out that much. Maybe 70% without playing music. It seems to isolate background noise much better when you have music playing to drown out the extra noise. I originally wanted these to drown out sounds at a coffee shop. Wasn't as dramatic as I'd like. When I play music though--classical or anything I want--the unwanted noise is virtually gone. I don't crack up the volume because I want a little bit of background noise for safety. Haven't been disappointed with these. Would say if you are looking for noise canceling devices only, this isn't what you want--too expensive for just that feature.

- Answer Yes, I use them every week when flying. They also work well on the Tarmac. They are the lightest by far. Not even close. They use light weight super strong and sturdy materials. I looked at every model I could find including Senheiser, B&W, B&O, Beats, up to $700 and there was no comparison. Plus they have the longest battery life so I only charge once a week. By the way they also work corded or cordless.

- Answer No. Noise cancelling stays active as long as they are on. (And they sound good, and people on the other end of the call say they can hear me fine)
