QuietComfort 45 headphones have a newer version of Bluetooth (5.1), a longer battery life (24 hours), and two noise cancellation modes (Quiet and Aware).

- Answer Can't hear the neighbor's dog with them on but can definitely hear mine bark. Doesn't block squeaky toy sounds either. But helps dampen the sound by quite a bit

- Answer Hi, just want to share my own thoughts about this, by far I have not heard of this as one of the possibilities that when you tap into your bluetooth connection you could use 2 gadgets all at once with just one bluetooth connection. I think you can only have one successful connection at a time, so it’s either your Bose headphones or your sound system at a single pairing. I hope this helps but I could be wrong. By the way, I love my bose headphones everyday that I use them. Thank you and enjoy!

- Answer If you have one of our Bose Smart Soundbars then you can use Bose SimpleSync to connect these headphones to the Soundbar and have audio playing from both the Soundbar and headphones. If you connect the headphones directly to the TV, then you would need to check if your TV can support playback from both Bluetooth and a connected audio system simultaneously.

QuestionWhat is the difference between quiet comfort 45 and the 700 model in so far as noise canceling is concerned? I am getting these solely for the noise canceling feature.

- Answer The 700's are the godfathers to ANC and consistently ranked top for this feature. The biggest difference is that with the 45's you can't adjust much on the EQ so they just don't sound as good. A huge difference too is when it comes to phone calls. The 700's are far superior in cancelling out noises for you and from you on calls, making them super clear. The 700's are much better suited for travel, coming with an audio cord that can be plugged in to in flight entertainment or other tech (laptops, etc). I would absolutely recommend the 700's over the 45's, they are much better.
