QuestionCan the Bose Soundbar 700 be mounted to the bottom of an articulated TV mount using the "SoundXtra - TV Mount Attachment for Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar"? The 300 and 700 are the same size so will the 700 work on the SoundXtra Mount?

QuestionIf purchased now, will future software upgrades be available on this device if/when it can be paired with other Amazon Alexa's?

- Answer Yes future updates will be available and pushed down to the speaker automatically over your WIFI. The Alexa feature works very well and integrates with the rest of your Alexa devices on your network now. The Alexa feature lowers the volume of the TV and replies accordingly depending on what you ask and then goes back to what you were listening to seamlessly. Great integration.

QuestionCan I remote my Sony TV remote to turn on the soundbar and control the volume? Also, the soundbar does not have any volume indicator, how do I know where is at for the volume other than the output sound? Does it have a bar show low to high volume?

- Answer Hi Jason, your system can receive IR commands from other remote controls. This is useful, for example, if you want to program a third-party universal remote to control multiple devices in your home, including your Bose system. Find out how to control your system with another remote. The TV will not show volume changes.

- Answer I don't see why not. It is only looking for input, so whether it comes from a TV or a computer, I wouldn't think it would matter, but it is a very expensive PC Speaker.

- Answer It should be fine. You just need to connect the audio from the TV directly to the soundbar using the optical wire that comes with soundbar. It works perfectly for me.

QuestionHi there I purchased my Bose 1sr cinemate in 2012 it was the best home theater I’ve purchased unfortunately it’s out dated and I want Bluetooth And other recent features if I upgrade to the Bose 700 sound bar and 700 subwoofer will it sound same or better

- Answer This is a tough question and one I faced because I have a Bose Cinemate GS II system and I compared the two. For stereo (a 2.1 system), I thought the older Cinemate had a fuller more "there" sound but it lacked the ability to go to 5.1 for a fuller theater experience. It was a hard decision but I ultimately decided to go with the 700 system, sub and rear 700 speakers. Doing away with wires everywhere was a big consideration and the freedom to place the sub anywhere helped. As to sound, it was close.

QuestionHey guys I recently purchased the Bose 700 sound bar have it hooked up to my tv via hdmi(arc) cable. When people talk on the tv the sound is a lot slower and doesn’t match up to when there mouths move. Hopefully that makes sense lol . What can I do

- Answer Try unplugging it to reset it might help. The sounds should match up perfectly. If that doesn’t work maybe exchange it for a new one

- Answer You cannot connect directly to the Cinemate 1SR via Bluetooth. You will need to purchase an adaptor. You can connect with the headphone cable.
