• I doubt that is true, this has played everything on my TV since being installed

• Hello, the Soundbar 900 will play all audio that is received from the connected TV via HDMI or optical, including YouTube audio. You may be considering Chromecast Built-In. We have prioritized enabling Chromecast (built-in) for all our Smart Speakers & Soundbars which will allow you to cast YouTube Music (with a Premium YouTube Music account) and other Cast enabled apps. Until it is released, we would recommend connecting via Bluetooth from your phone or other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
