QuestionWill this work the Acoustimass 300 base module that came with the 300 Soundbar?

- Answer Confirmed the Bose 900 soundbar will work and pair with Acoustimass 300 and Virtually Invisible 300 surround speakers (now renamed Bose Surround speakers). I replaced my SoundTouch 300 Bar and transferred the bass module and surround speakers from that to the 900 successfully. After installing the 900 unplug the surround speakers for 30 seconds and then plug them back in. The light will come on solid amber at first but after it can’t find the old bar it will begin to blink amber. Once it’s blinking go into the Bose Music app and add accessories. Found mine and effortlessly paired to the 900. The acoustimass 300 shows up under its new name (Bose Base Module 700).

QuestionCan Bose 900 work with a bass module 500? Can a Bose 900 soundbar purchased in the USA work in Europe where the voltage is 220V?...and a different frequency?

- Answer Hello, the Bose 900 Soundbar does work with the Subwoofer 500. I actually purchased the subwoofer 500 from bose. I bought it refurbished for $329 i think it cost. The subwoofer 500 is awesome. It is truly amazing. I keep it on 30, 40 out of 100. My son came in and said he can't believe that small subwoofer puts out that much bass. I don't know about the voltage question.

QuestionAre these newer bose soundbars fully controllable only when on wifi? I want one but we don't have access to wifi in our area and it seems like these bose soundbars need wifi for functions that shouldn't call for it but their remote design forces it.

- Answer While Wi-Fi access provides a range of additional benefits, including enabling product firmware updates, and Amazon Alexa, the Soundbar 900 can be used independently without the use of Wi-Fi. Included is a remote which can be used to operate the system independently.

QuestionIs Bose Smart Soundbar 900 supports dual voltage supply? Does it support 100-240V so it can work in INDIA without using a power adaptor? I am planning to buy from USA and bring it in INDIA which supports 220V hence asking this question urgently.

- Answer I got the confirmation from Bose technical team that it support input of 100 - 240V. So you just need a replacement power cable or international plug adaptor only.

QuestionNoticed there isn't a wall mount/bracket. I've ordered mine and waiting for it to be picked up... Anyone know if the 700 Sound Bar Wall Bracket/Mount works with the new 900?

- Answer It does work with the 900. The included stencil sheet will be no help but I have seen people struggle with that, mounting the older soundbars anyway. Just measuring between the two mount points should be fine. Attached pic is of the 900 which I installed recently with the Bose brackets.

- Answer You can only connect one pair of surround speakers to the Smart Soundbar 900. You can, however, connect two bass modules. The bass modules need to be the same model. For example, 2 x Bass Module 500 or 2 x Bass Module 700.

Questionwith the 900 connected to my TV, if i have a few 500s or other Bose smart speakers in other rooms that can connect to WiFi, could i play the audio from the TV over the other speakers as well? i see i can play music, wondering about TV audio.

- Answer Hi Brendan. Yes you can group them together but the audio from the TV will have a delay on other speakers.

QuestionCan this be used to replace the front 3 channels in a traditional 5.1 setup? I have wall mounted L/C/R now but will be getting a larger TV that will end up covering those positions and want to hook a soundbar up to my receiver instead.

- Answer No it is a standalone soundbar that is designed to be used on its own, or with the options bass module 500 or 700 and the Bose surround speakers. It is not compatible with other products.

- Answer Tou should be able too . I have 2 soundbar 700 with 2 bass module 700 connected and a extra soundbar 900 and i can connect all three of them using the bose music app by grouping them all together
