It does work with the 900. The included stencil sheet will be no help but I have seen people struggle with that, mounting the older soundbars anyway. Just measuring between the two mount points should be fine. Attached pic is of the 900 which I installed recently with the Bose brackets.

The form factor of the 2 sound bars are nearly identical except for small aesthetic variances. Like the Bose logo and the upfiring speakers part. Other than that they are identical. Congrats on your new sound bar purchase.
