Features
  • Ultra-crisp dialogue clarity.

Having a hard time hearing what your favorite characters are saying? A.I. Dialogue Mode balances voice and surround sound for ultra-crisp vocal clarity. Watching an action movie? A.I. Dialogue Mode enhances the clarity of conversations while ensuring the roaring engines don’t drown out what’s important.

  • Only TrueSpace elevates it all.

Dolby Atmos is great for elevating the sound experience of certain movies and TV. But most content isn’t Atmos-encoded. For full immersion all the time, there’s Bose TrueSpace technology. No matter what you’re watching, TrueSpace intelligently analyzes signals other than Dolby Atmos, like stereo or 5.1, and upmixes them to create an immersive multi-channel sound experience. Instruments, dialogue, and effects are separated, then placed around the room.

  • Big-time tech for a small soundbar.

It wouldn’t be a Bose smart soundbar if it weren’t packed full of technology. The acoustic architecture of Smart Soundbar squeezes five transducers — including two that fire upward — into its compact frame. They all work together to spread sound around your room: horizontally left, right, and forward, but most importantly above to reflect off the ceiling.

  • Streaming. Any way you want.

If you can get it on your phone, you can hear it through the Bose Smart Soundbar. And no matter what you stream, it all sounds deep and rich. Connect to Wi-Fi to access integrated music services and internet radio stations through the Bose app. Or stream songs and video with Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, or Chromecast built-in. It’s your entertainment — you choose how you stream it.

  • Personal Surround Sound. Theater-like immersion.

Now you can pair the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds (sold separately) with your soundbar to add new dimension to your movies and TV. Acting as rear surround speakers for the individual user, they combine a unique open-ear design with breakthrough Bose Immersive Audio to add another rich layer to the sonic experience your soundbar delivers.

  • Complete control with voice, remote, or app.

For voice control, Amazon Alexa capabilities are built-in, so all you have to do is say the word. Plus, proprietary Voice4Video technology expands your Alexa voice capabilities like only a Bose soundbar can. In addition to your Bose smart soundbar, you can control your TV and cable/satellite box with just your voice. Or use your Smart Soundbar with a compatible Google device to access Works With Google Assistant features.²

  • More sound. In more rooms.

Smart Soundbar is just one way to fill your home with music. Group it with other Wi-Fi-enabled Bose speakers and soundbars for a seamless, whole-home audio experience. That could mean different songs in different rooms, or the same song throughout.

  • Private — or party — listening.

If “smart” doesn’t exactly describe your home, you can still connect Smart Soundbar with compatible Bose Bluetooth speakers and headphones with Bose SimpleSync¹. Want to watch TV but not disturb others? Pair your soundbar with select Bose headphones for a personal TV listening experience. Or do you want to add even more sound? Pair your soundbar with select Bose Bluetooth speakers.

  • Bose SimpleSync

Pairing your Bose Smart Soundbar to compatible Bose products is now easier than ever with updated SimpleSync¹ technology. Away from your phone? No app, no problem. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on each device to group and sync their sound for audio that follows you from room to room. You can now also connect your Bose Smart Soundbar to a pre-existing group or smart device at a moment’s notice by pressing the Action button on the connecting device.

  • Want more punch? Add more power.

The Bose Smart Soundbar delivers full immersion all on its own. But you can still add to the experience to make up for any limitations in your space or for a more theater-like experience. Dial up low-end fullness with a wireless bass module or take spaciousness to another level with surround speakers. Or add both to round out a full home theater system.

  • An app is all it takes.

Now with smarter TV connectivity. From guided setup to choosing all your preferences, the Bose app is the key to all Smart Soundbar has to offer. Connect the soundbar to your TV using either HDMI eARC/ARC or the optical audio connection (both cables are included) and hook it up to power. The Bose app walks you through the rest. You can then set up voice control and Voice4Video, manage Bose Wi-Fi-enabled products, update software, and browse all your music in one place.

  • Small, sleek soundbar.

This elegant and compact soundbar measures 27.5" wide (69.5 cm) by 2.25" (6 cm) tall and fits perfectly under any TV. Or choose the optional bracket to mount it on your wall (sold separately). The top surface is a sleek matte black and is complemented by a perforated wraparound metal grille — all designed to look great in your room.

    BOSE Smart Soundbar

This soundbar is the perfect all-in-one audio upgrade for my home. I immediately loved its elegant design and simple setup. The performance is truly exceptional: it delivers an immersive spatial soundstage with Dolby Atmos and TrueSpace technology that makes movies come alive. For daily viewing, my favorite feature is the A.I. Dialogue Mode—it makes voices crystal clear, ensuring I never miss a word. While I would recommend adding the optional subwoofer for that deep, cinematic rumble, the robust smart features and simple app control make this the top choice for a high-end, minimalist system. You won't regret this purchase!

    Best soundbar at this price.

After lots of research and listening to different soundbars, I decided with this one and made the right choice. This is a picture of it in front of a 65 inch tv, nice sleek design, not overwhelmingly big, it’s a matte black so light doesn’t reflect off of it and distract you, sound is amazing, has a bit of bass even though it’s just a sound bar, will likely be adding a sub in the future. Boss app is super easy to use. Would 100 percent recommend

Insult to PC Gamers - Excellent Quality

I have been using a Vizio M213AD-K8 under my gaming monitor for quite some time. I wanted something significantly smaller as the Vizio was roughly three feet wide. Initial impression is this sound bar sounds amazing and the build quality is great. Great stereo separation. Upward firing speakers even make stereo sound fuller while keeping good separation. I'm knocking one star off for each of the following reasons: 1. This is a copy and paste of the Bose SB600. The "AI" features they added offer nothing of real value and the AI voice enhancement is liked by very few reviewers. I think this approach was lazy. 2. PC gamers who are using gaming monitors will not like this soundbar. When not on sale, this soundbar is $500. It is usually on sale for $400. At that price, it should have an HDMI input like my Vizio M213AD-K8 that is a third of the price. In the PC world, 999/1000 gaming monitors don't have eARC passthrough for the HDMI ports. Even monitors like my Samsung G60SD with dual HDMI 2.1 ports doesn't offer this. Since the monitor builders are lagging behind, this could easily be remedied by having HDMI input on smaller soundbars like this as you can't connect a GPU to an eARC port to get audio. If someone at Bose reads this, please include HDMI input on your next SB600 variant so PC gamers can pass an Atmos signal into it using Dolby Access. If you want to really knock your next model out of the park, allow for full HDMI 2.1 passthrough (VRR Support) just like my cheaper Vizio M213AD-K8 can do. Sadly, the Vizio M213AD-K8 is HDMI 2.0 so I can only go to 120Hz at 1440p. PC Gamers need a soundbar like the Bose Smart Soundbar that can passthrough high refresh rates for 1080p, 1440p and 4K while keeping VRR functionality. Finally, offer a white variant. Black electronics died with Circuit City. Make these changes and promote the next model not only to console gamers that use TV's with eARC ports, but to PC gamers that need to passthrough their HDMI signal from GPU to the soundbar to their monitor since gaming monitors don't have eARC ports.
