“Is the Bose 900 sound bar compatible with Bose SoundTouch? I have SoundTouch SA-5 amplifier with Bose 251 speakers for my backyard and would like to be able to control the soundbar from the SoundTouch app”

I don’t think so. The 900 sound bar uses the newer Bose music app. I have an iPhone and I can wirelessly stream to 900 and a portable speaker that has Wi-Fi by Bose if your system has Wi-Fi then you should be able to do that with Apple phone anyway.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Our Smart Soundbars are of a new product line and use a different architecture, so it is not directly compatible with Bose SoundTouch. It uses the newer Bose Music application. It can communicate with products like the SA-5, however, via the use of Simple Sync or Apple Airplay 2.
