Once your chosen streaming service is set up you control the speaker via the preset station buttons on the speaker itself

A:AnswerI had the same issue,only that my product was stuck at the update(white light scrolls continuosly from left to right).Whener I switched it on,it would go off after about 50 seconds the restart on its own.

A:AnswerWhile Home Speaker 500 does feature Alexa, this speaker cannot be currently grouped with other Alexa-enabled speaker such as an Echo/Dot. This system is not compatible with the Solo 5.
A:Answerit stays on standby so it can take your order when you address it by saying ALEXA. It's. just like being off and the word Alexa before a command activates it. You will love it!!!
