QuestionThe kit came with a stick on rubber strip, but the instructions make no mention of just exactly wherein goes ?

- Answer Andrew has it correct. I called Bose and they confirmed. If you look really close at the instruction drawing you can see the extra lines of the rubber strip. I asked the support person to see about adding this to their instructions.

QuestionRoom is 17x15 Ceiling flat & 12 ft hi n center running long length of room 4 ft wide. Angles down on both sides to 8 ft (from 12 ft height on either side of the high flat area is 5 1/2 ft. Place Bose Solo 5 closer to ceiling? Or below tv? For best sound?

- Answer Below the TV. My experience with Bose is that sound is optimized when more directional toward viewer. Seems mounted that high would create unnecessary echo.

QuestionI will be mounting this outside in a covered area but am on the coast so may need to buy stainless steel fasteners to avoid rust. There's no mention in the user manual but what size screws fit the Bose Solo 5 Soundbar and what type of metal are they?

- Answer All the hardware is included in this kit, personally I prefer “zip it” anchors to hold the wall bracket into the drywall (not included) but the screws that hold the soundbar bracket to the solo 5 are included, and I’m not sure what type of metal the bracket is but it is painted black and if I was to guess, would never rust.
