the soundbar 5 requires a "line level" input from your tv. If this is what you are referring to as "non amplified"....then yes, it will work.

I am not sure; however, the Bose is a powered speaker so it should have its own amplification.

Not sure about the "non amplified" part of the question. You can connect the bose sound bar to your TV using an auxiliary plug
