Q: QuestionWhat surround wireless speakers work with this sound bar?
Asked by Jules.
- A:Answer Hi there, The Solo-5 Soundbar cannot be used with any wireless surround speakers. If you are after a Soundbar that can use such speakers, we would recommend investigating the SoundTouch 300 Soundbar, Soundbar 500 or Soundbar 700. All of these Soundbars can use both the Bose Surround Speakers, and the Bose Surround Speakers 700. We hope this helps answer your question, and please reach out again if you have further questions!

Asked by foot.
- A:Answer I have DIRECTV and I could not get it to program so that I could use my remote from Direct TV to control both the Bose speaker and the TV. Even though that is a huge inconvenience for me personally the speakers are great. Bose does include a universal speaker in the box which you can program to work the speakers and your TV

Q: QuestionWill this connect to a 2008 Samsung LN-T5271F television? If so, how?
Asked by lildave.
- A:Answer Hello! Thank you for taking the time to ask a question! Our Solo 5 Soundbar can connect to a TV through 1 of 3 cable types - AUX, Optical, or Coaxial. The TV you have mentioned here does have both a digital Audio output for an optical cable, and a 3.5mm headphone port for the AUX. You only need one of these cables connected, but this would allow you to connect to this system. If you want to use this system with a TV that does not support any of the above cable types, we would recommend looking into cable adapters that support one of these 3 cable types on one end, and a cable type that your TV supports on the other end. We hope this helps!

Q: QuestionHello I lost my remote, is there any way I can still use my sound bar ?
Asked by Nestorcarb.
- A:Answer I'm afraid without your remote you're not going to activate it. I can tell you that if you go to eBay and look up just the remote for your unit you typically can find it at a good price and it doesn't take that long to get to you. Or you can contact Bose yourself and get a new one sent to you.

Q: QuestionCan the optical input and the coaxial input be used independently. Say using optical for the tv and the coaxial for just music from a reciever?
Asked by Garett.
- A:Answer Hello! Thank you for your patience on this, and apologies for the delay. The Optical and Coaxial cables are both intended for usage with the TV, and we would advise that you do not use both of these ports at the same time, as this can result in the system not receiving information correctly. However, the AUX port uses a separate, dedicated channel. As such, it is still possible to have 2 sources connected simultaneously, but one must use the AUX port, and the other can use either the optical port or the coaxial port. In your instance, we would recommend using the TV on the optical/coaxial port, and the receiver with the AUX port if this is possible. We hope this helps clear this up for you!

Q: QuestionWill this work on a. TC2 roku tcl?
Asked by Yano.
- A:Answer Hello! This Soundbar can receive audio from a TV or Source through one of 3 cables - AUX, Optical, and Coaxial cables. If your TV has one of these ports, then you would be able to use the cable provided with this system to connect this up and play to your Roku TCL TV. Even if your TV doesn't have one of those ports, you may be able to use an adapter to convert the cable type you have (E.G. L/R RCA Cables) to one of these compatible formats. We hope this clears this up for you!
