Thank you for your patience on this, and apologies for the delay.
The Optical and Coaxial cables are both intended for usage with the TV, and we would advise that you do not use both of these ports at the same time, as this can result in the system not receiving information correctly.
However, the AUX port uses a separate, dedicated channel. As such, it is still possible to have 2 sources connected simultaneously, but one must use the AUX port, and the other can use either the optical port or the coaxial port.
In your instance, we would recommend using the TV on the optical/coaxial port, and the receiver with the AUX port if this is possible.
