Question1 hdmi connected to the chromecast & another to the Roku so if i connected 3rd one to the Bose solo 5 than i can it work when i am using chromecast or Roku

- Answer It you connect the sound to optical and change the setting in the tv all sound from the tv will come from the sound bar

- Answer Hello, thank you for posting your question. Yes, the Solo 5 TV would connect with your TV. The speaker will come with a Digital optical cable which you can connect from the back of your TV marked "Audio out", into to the connection on the back of the soundbar marked under TV Input>Optical port. QuestionMy Samsung TV is over 10 years old and I tried adding it to the universal remote with code 0060 but it didn't work. Am I doing something wrong or is it not compatible with old models?

- Answer no it would not hook up to a sub. you will need a receiver to do that.

- Answer BOSE soundbar has been excellent. We thought we had to replace our TV because the sound was going out, we tried the BOSE soundbar and it's perfect. Best Buy Guys are great!

QuestionIn response to 24 July Bose support answer.1st website you list is adjusting bass--not the issue. Apparently 2nd site would address the dialogue function, but I tried 2 web browsers and link can't be located.Issue concerns hearing aids.Still need help.

- Answer Hello Hellonwheels, decreasing the bass as well as using the dialog mode should greatly improve the sound for you. To turn dialog mode on simply press the Dialog Mode button (http://bose.life/2eI7jNT) on the remote, the system status indicator blinks amber three times and then remains amber while in Dialog Mode. QuestionI just purchased a Sony 900E and want to hookup the Bose Solo to it, question is once hooked up, will the Comcast controller control the sound or will I need to be using two controllers, comcast for TV, Bose for sound? Thanks

- Answer Yes, I mounted mine that way had to order Bose brackets from Amazon. They do not come in the sound bar kit. The bracket kits come with all the mounting hardware you will need.

QuestionCan I use the Solo 5 TV Soundbar as the center speaker of my tv? If not, what would you recomend? I do have 2 front and 2 rear speakers but I prefer to use only a center speaker when watching tv. Thanks for your help.

- Answer I use mine for a center speaker in a 5.1 system. Use aux jack for hookup. You have to hookup the 2 plus wires together to get the left and right channels when connecting to the center channel. 2 plus wires together to the center out of your amp and one to the negative side. Works great and has a special voice mode if you have trouble hearing dialog over the background audio.
