A:AnswerYes and no. Your iPod classic has a 30pin connection and the Bose sound dock has a lighting connector. So, it will not fit in the dock because it's not compatible. The yes is you can get a 3.5 to 3.5 cable and use the auxiliary in the back of the Bose to get your sound but, it will not charge or control your iPod. Hope that helps.
A:AnswerYes. You should be able to connect your iPad to the Bose sound dock. I don't reason why not although we have always connected our iPhone to it and it works well with it.

A:AnswerHi Alex, you can purchase our SoundTouch Wireless Link (http://bose.life/2dVHDKe) to add Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to your SoundDock III. There are also multiple 3rd party Bluetooth adapters available that will connect to the auxiliary input on the system itself. Thank you for the inquiry!
A:AnswerHello Rob, thank you for the inquiry, the Bose SoundDock Series III does not have a built in battery for portable use. We'd recommend one of our SoundLink products (http://bose.life/2igJTwX) for your specific needs.
A:AnswerYes it will. My issue with this dock is that you have to buy an adapter if you want to dock your IPhone with the case on. I don't even have a large Otter type case. Who wants to take their case off every time they dock it? Once I found the adapter have been very satisfied with the sound and charging but overall for the price the design is bad. Was also unable to find the adapter at Best Buy and had to go on line.
A:AnswerWhile the dock on this speaker is designed for ios devices with Apple's Lightning connector, you can connect it to the auxiliary jack with a 3.5mm audio cable.
