A:AnswerHi Sue,
Thanks for the question. While we cannot guarantee compatibility with every device, the required Bluetooth profiles are A2DP, AVRCP, and HFP. We encourage you to give it a try to see if it works out for you!
Thank you again,
Mohsin - Bose Support
A:AnswerThis one needs to be charged because it is amplified.
Any speakers that don’t require a charge will not be very loud because they will be running only on the wattage your device puts out.
A:AnswerHello, thank you for your interest in the SoundLink Color Bluetooth Speaker II. This particular model is not engineered to pair with your SoundTouch 10. The Color II will pair with another Color II, the SoundLink Micro, SoundLink Revolve and Revolve+ portable speakers. I would recommend adding a second SoundTouch 10 to your home, as they can pair over your Wi-Fi network. The SoundTouch 30 Series III and SoundTouch 20 Series III are great choices for larger rooms of your home. The ST 30 is our most powerful standalone speaker and delivers incredible musical detail. Hope this helps! Jesse - Bose Support

A:AnswerI wouldn’t suggest this system for that purpose. First and foremost I wouldn’t classify this item as “super loud.” Furthermore, I don’t believe mounting the system in that manner would hold up over time and might void any warranty associated with the product.
A:AnswerHello Franne, thank you for posting this question.
The Bluetooth requirements for the SoundLink Color II is A2DP and HFP(for phone calls). You may also enjoy your music from the MP3 device with an audio cable as well.
Hope this helps!
Best Regards
A:AnswerYou can't. We bought 2 speakers for that very reason. Almost 2 months kater and still trying to figure it out wto an instruction manual in the box. I would buy another brand for party mode. The Bose app Bose says to download and use fir party app has poor reviews at best and all reviews state they can no longer even get one of their two speaker to work. Bose quality has definitely gone downhill.
A:AnswerThank you for asking. Bluetooth audio on these speakers is a one-to-one connection with the audio device (phone, tablet, etc.) and there is not a way to accomplish stereo pairing. We do have another speaker that can do this over home wifi: http://bit.ly/2dygvBy
