QuestionI have the (1st Gen) of the Bose soundlink flex portable bluetooth speaker. What is the difference between mine and the (2nd Gen )?

- Answer Hi Barry - here are some key differences. The 2nd Gen has an Equalizer in the app, whereas the 1st Gen does not. The 2nd Gen also has a Shortcut button, which can be customized via the app for accessing e.g. Speaker Link, your voice assistant or Spotify Tap. The 1st Gen doesn't have a Shortcut button.

- Answer Hello Hack, if you have two SoundLink Flex speaker you can use them separately and play different content on each speaker or alternatively group the two speaker to play the same music.

QuestionNeither of my iPods are Bluetooth enabled. Can I connect them to the speaker via 3,5 mm hardwire cable? If not do you have a speaker that will work for me? Perhaps a unit that is both Bluetooth and hardwire enabled.

If you're looking for a speaker that supports both Bluetooth and wired connections, we recommend the SoundLink Max.
