I had the over-the-ear SoundLink II and they worked with both my iPhone 5s and my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact (Android)...both paired together. I used one to play music from Tidal and the other to take phone calls. The SoundLink's allowed me to switch between the 2 paired devices. NFC worked well also.
