“Are the earbuds constantly charging when the case is closed? If so, when a full charge is achieved, do they automatically shut off/stop charging? I’m worried about overcharging and burning cells, thus decreasing the life of the unit.”

Hi, Gabriel. Thank you for your interest in the SoundSport Free wireless headphones. We totally understand your concern. When you insert the earbuds into the charging case, the buds will power off and begin charging if the case itself is currently charged. When the earbuds are finished charging, you will see one white LED light next to each bud in the case, and they will stop charging. We hope this helps! Have a great day. Jesse - Bose Support
