• Hi Frank, Thanks for the great question. Answering calls is done by pressing the multi-function button. To shut them off you would put them back in the case. Regards, Tony G - Bose Support

• Answering calls is just press the middle button, but the call will only work on the right earbud, the left one is just for music. Turn it off is the reason why I returned it. You need to put it back on the charger box to do it...
