• You can only reduce the bass. I am very particular about sound also and this speaker is perfect for me.

• The unit does NOT have detailed sound adjustment controls. Only real sound control option is a bass reduction control within the app. There are no other sound mode options. I will say the sound is very good for playing music as is, for use in my home office room.

• It does not have separate controls. It is a great sound anything that Bose makes has great quality sound.
