- Answer You can try the Bluetooth speaker from Bose excellent sound, portable, and costs less. If that's still too much I'm afraid other companies will only disappoint you. No matter how much people say to you that this company or that sounds like Bose let your ears be the judge. I'd say save up for at least the Bluetooth speaker it'll be worth the wait in the end.

- Answer Your computer connects to the speaker via bluetooth (so no wi-fi is even needed for this connection). Whichever player you want to use to play music (or movie) on your computer is irrelevant for the connection or to the speaker. The computer simply transmits the sound to the speaker.

- Answer I don't know anything about iPod Nano's, but I would, nonetheless say YES! This device has bluetooth connectivity, and an 'AUX' input, so it should work with almost any device. If you can plug a set of headphones into it, you can plug it into a Bose SoundTouch speaker.

QuestionI have the 20 and it works great inside. I currently have speakers going to my outside deck that are hardwired to my computer to play iTunes, Pandora, etc. Can I plug the Soundtouch into my receiver somehow so I am playing the same music inside and out?

- Answer The Bose unit will play comfortably loudly. I use a Fender Mustang III amp and Les Paul to play along with it. No, you will not get concert type loudness out of it, but if you set your guitar amp at a lower output, the audio is plenty enough to play along with. Your best bet would be to go and hear the loudness of the Bose unit in person and see if it will meet your needs.
