Hello Shawnajoey, thank you for your question. It really depends on the size of the room. The SoundTouch 30 has a really great bass response and easily fills a room in excess of 15-20 feet on a side. That being said, the Home Speaker 500 does a very nice job filling a 15x20 room and it is Alexa enabled. Of course, the best way to know is to hear each of them and decide for yourself.
