• Hi, That's a great question. You would retain some features through the Soundtouch App, but it's not intended to take the place of the remote. If you lost the remote the best thing would be to contact customer service for a replacement. Here is a link you can use. http://bose.life/2qwENj4 . • Yes...a nice feature Bose provides is the Soundtouch app ... easy to use to play music.
