Thank you for your inquiry. We don't recommend enclosing the SoundTouch 300 soundbar, especially in the front or on the sides. Sound does emit from the sides of the soundbar, and is especially important in order for the PhaseGuide Technology to work properly. PhaseGuide is the technology that makes you believe you’re hearing sounds where there are no speakers. We hope this helps!
