“I have my tv placed on fireplace, at about 5.5 Feet from ground. Is placing the sound bar below tv (above fireplace), a good idea? Or will the sound degrade ? And for tv to be placed on, are there any recommended casings for ST300 ?”

I actually put my Soundbar above my tv. I like it more, you should try it if you have the space
