“My neighbor has this amplifier with 151 Bose speakers. If I choose to by this same amplifier with the 251 speakers will I be able to control his Bose speakers or vise versa with the amplifier?”

A SoundTouch amplifier would be assigned to a specific SoundTouch account. While technically you could share the same SoundTouch account, we would generally recommend having your own account for most customers due to limitations in range of home wifi (you'd have to be sharing his network to share an account).
