I don't think there is a repair center in North Carolina. The only one is in Indiana, I believe. Go to: https://www.bose.com/en_us/support/self_service/service_and_repair_request.html and follow the instructions. I had a similar CD issue with my 20 year old Wave system: takes the CD but it skips and chatters. I'm waiting for the repaired system to come back. The repair fee ($124) is reasonable.
