“A slightly different question regarding CD playback... Hi - Longtime owner of Bose 901s and current owner of 4 internet radios and an Onkyo receiver with a built in internet tuner. I am very much interested in the newest series of Soundtouch products. My question regards adding my Sony 300 Disc CD changer via the aux input to either the Wave IV or the Soundtouch 30 III and in doing so will either of these units be able to sych up and send the music to other Soundtouch devices via my WiFi? If so, my next question is similar in that I have a lifetime subscription to SiriusXM on a portable device. Again, if I connect the XM radio to the aux input will it be able to be send that music via WiFi to other Soundtouch devices throughout my home? If Bluetooth is needed to do this, neither my CD changer nor my portable XM radio possess that feature. If this is the case, I can live with just having my CD changer hooked to the main Soundtouch device, be it either the Wave IV or the Soundtouch 30 III and perhaps I will look into getting a SiriusXM account on my android phone if that will work via Bluetooth to the main Soundtouch device and then sent out over my WiFi to other Soundtouch devices. If this is so, that would be satisfactory. I am glad that Bose decided to add Bluetooth to the new series but am hoping for Airplay to be restored as I have several thousand songs on my computers that I would like to play throughout my home via Soundtouch but again, I think (and you can confirm this) if I use the Bluetooth on my laptops I can still do this. To be honest, I could care less about Apple's music service as I much prefer Pandora One and SiriusXM, but that doesn't mean others are not desirous of such a feature. Lastly, what wireless protocols will these units accept, i.e., 802.11 b/g/n/ac? Anyway, I realize that I have been somewhat wordy, but being interested in this newest version of Soundtouch I want to know what it is capable of. Thank you so very much for any and all input. SS”
