Hello Kevin. Thank you for your question. It sounds like you are trying to connect a Bluetooth speaker to the Wave system wirelessly. While the Wave system does support Bluetooth, it is a Bluetooth receiver only so it cannot transmit audio to another device such as a Bluetooth speaker. The Wave SoundTouch IV does have WiFi though, which allows you to connect wirelessly to all of your SoundTouch products and control them from the SoundTouch app on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
