Yes, you would need to pay for the additional parts but that is where your costs will escalate. You will no longer be charged for additional work. However your time involved in the multiple replacement of this piece of junk is a pain, particularly if you live a long distance from the store as I do. They installed 2 of these units in my Ford truck & neither lasted 3 months. Currently have appointment to put original radio back in truck & refund cost of the BOSS.
