It has a microphone, much better quailty and clearly picked up voice compared to most "in box" mics, Does not work with "Alexa " commands. Works off Google commands when no phone is synchronized in limited capacity, Example- "Google, Directions to work" Works of Android/ Google commands when a Andrioid Auto compatible Smart phone is synchronized Works of Apple Comands when a compatible I phone smart phone is synchronized Many features use the Apple/ Android cable AND Bluetooth to function properly * If you are not plugged into the port the available commands, execution are limited
