Will this fit on my 50mm 1.8d? null

This lens hood *should* fit the filter threads of the 50mm 1.8D lens. Having bought this hood, though, I can't recommend it. It's flimsy and won't stay on. I'd honestly spend a bit more and get one made by Nikon for this lens - or at least a better quality lens hood.

Depends on the brand of the lens and your camera. Measure the diameter of your lens. It should say what size it is near the end of the lens.
