- Answer This is not an exact answer to the question, but we are using the GoPro Mic adapter and a 20' cable to attach the audio input of the GoPro Hero5 to an aux out on our Mackie DL1608 mixer. We're still tweaking it, but, at this point, it seems like it should be providing the sort of audio response we're hoping for. If we are not able to get good sound quality from the setup, we will not be taking it "live"...
