• A:Answer Hello, While 105 watts is more than enough to power any resonably sensitive speaker, there are other factors involved as not all 105 watt amplifiers are going to have the same control over a loudspeaker. The claimed wattage of any amplifier is it's potantial power output rather than what it will be delivering all the time. Output fluctuates constantly during playback, and most speakers never demand anything close to the amplififer's maximum wattage output unless the user is trying to deafen their neighbors. Knowing which model Denon amplifier you have would make it easier for me to have a better idea about compatibility. Having enough power determines if it will go loud enough, but how well the amplifier handles a fluctuating impedance is largely a trial and error thing. Some amplifiers manage this better than others, and when they do - it results in improved sound quality, not least at the frequency extremes. Typically, models further up in a manufacturer's amplifier line-up are better equipped at handling demanding loudspeakers, regardless of their claimed maximum wattage delivery.

• A:Answer Hello, Yes - the MM7025 is a fine partner for the 702 S3s. If you would prefer to go the integrated amplifier route, the Model 40n would be what I would suggest starting with.
