The New Reference Series 800 Floor Standing Speaker features the most dramatic upgrades since the series' inception, including many technologies derived from the Klipsch Reference Premiere Series. The Spun-copper thermoformed crystalline polymer woofers utilize trickle-down technology from Klipsch's highly acclaimed Reference Premiere series of speakers. The two 8-inch injection-molded graphite woofers provide deep, distortion-free bass, while the exclusive Klipsch 1-inch aluminum LTS tweeter and larger 90 x 90 square Tractrix Horn provides improved coverage, bandwidth and directivity control. Easy to setup, supports Dolby Atmos, and has amazing sound that will blow you away!

The third generation of Klipsch's award-winning premium Reference Premiere 600M II features new, larger proprietary Tractrix horn technology to improve high-frequency response and extension, while enhancing imaging and dynamics. Klipsch signature copper Cerametallic woofers with aluminum faraday rings and Tractrix ports provide powerful low frequencies while minimizing distortion and maximizing efficiency. Sleek cabinet design details exude refinement and luxury with enhanced cabinet bracing, aluminum binding posts, cat aluminum feet, and discrete Dolby Atmos connections that allow for easy and refined elevation speaker integration.

Added these two speakers to my Denon AVR-X4700H as rear height channels and watching movies or listening to music is a great experience. Matches my other Klipsch speakers with the walnut finish, very sleek design. Currently have a 5.2.4 setup. Had to adjust the volume higher on these speakers so it’s audible during action scenes. Highly recommend these if they are on sale.

High end is extremely aggressive on all Klipsch speakers, something I l wish I had known before buying into a 5.1.2 system. (RP-8000F II, RP-404C II, RP-500SA II and these RP-502S II) I began having ear pain within the first week, no amount of eq seems to tone them down. Within a day of packing the speakers up to return them the ear pain subsided. If you have even slightly sensitive ears, stay away from Klipsch. The best they sounded was after I packed them up for return. Back to my old Bower’s and Wilkins.
