“What special device is needed to charge the device? The answer "you need a micro usb cable" is pointless. I have tried a variety of USB wall chargers and a laptop charging USB port and nothing will charge up the battery.”

You need to plug in a micro USB cable (Like the ones you use for your most blu tooth headphones) to the Power station. Then plug the other end of the Micro USB cable to a USB wall charger. That is the best way to charge this station.

Please try again later.In order to charge the stand's built in battery, you must plug in the USB cable into the port that is in the 'front' of the stand, i.e. where the tablet, or smartphone is actually facing you. Also, if you are using any of the output ports at the same time, it will NOT charge the device either.
