QuestionDoes this shaver use replaceable batteries? What battery does it use?

- Answer I doubt it has replaceable batteries. I bought this low-cost quality shaver because (when the rechargeable batteries no longer can take a charge) I can still use it by plugging into the wall outlet. NOTE: This shaver is NOT for wet & dry use. This is why this shaver can operate when plugged in. Shavers for wet & dry use are batteries ONLY (cannot be plugged in to operate) to prevent any possibility of electrocution.

- Answer No, it does not have a pop up trimmer. This foil trimmer will offer a decent shave, but I get a better trim with my cheaper 3 head circular Phillips norelco. After using the Braun unit, I found it to be a bit overpriced in relation to the basic performance it was able to provide. I had a cheaper, generic foil trimmer in the past that performed better than this one.
