Middle blade helps with the stubborn longer hairs. Acts like a comb to lift hair. No burn but need to inspect foil cover for gaps after extended usage because the foil will create scrapes and scratches when broken. Side trimmer helps with other areas for grooming.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used this razor on my face with long stubble. If you move it really fast or jerky, it can tug at the hairs. But shaving slowly and evenly, it has not tugged at my long stubble and shaved it quite well. But I do have to shave against the grain of the hair growth to get a close shave. Additionally, I have sensitive skin and this razor has not caused any issues for me. I hope this helps.
