No, the Breville® BOV845 Smart Option® Pro does not have a defrost function. Any dishes used in this toaster oven would need to be confirmed from the manufacture of the cookware/dishes to be rated for use in a toaster oven.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not familiar with the Cuisinart you mentioned. The Breville does not have a defrost option. It does have Reheat, Slow Cook and Dehydrate among the 13 presets. Time and temp can be adjusted to the minute and to the degree you desire as well. I have used both pyrex and corningware without any problem. I use it most often for roasting. It does a great job. It heats frozen pizza quickly and evenly using the included non-stick pizza pan. It did a good job baking biscuits and brownies. I haven't baked anything else. It includes multiple racks and pans. I think it's a very versatile, well built and effective product. Highly recommended.
