Yes - there is an internal light that turns on automatically the last 30 seconds of the cooking cycle. If you want to turn it on sooner, you push the little light bulb button on the right under the red start button. The light only stays on for 30 seconds at a time. FYI - love this toaster oven. Bagels have never been better.
