“I'm just wondering if I need to have a roof vent to use the Breville convection oven. I live in a studio without that. Will it cause any odor or smoke problems if I don't have a roof vent in the room? Marc Trainor.”

• The Breville® BOV845BSS Smart Oven® Pro will release steam when cooking but, unless the food being cooked spatters something on the elements there should be no smoke. A roof vent should not be necessary.

• no vent needed. Just 4 in clearance on all sides and 6 in on top before cabinets.
