Q: QuestionDoes heating element go all the way across, or is there a gap in the middle?? I've seen some toasters that way, and they leave a section on your slice of bread that doesn't get toasted. Thanks.
Asked by Richard.
- A:Answer I will andwer what the Breville consumer dared not answer: the heating element does not go all the way across instead there is a wide gap of 2" WHERE THERE IS NO HEAT ELEMENT SO WHEN YOU TOAST A LONG SLICE OF CALABREZE OR MICHE STYLE BREAD IN THE SLOT IT WILL DEFINITELY HAVE A LARGE WHITE UNTOASTED PATCH IN MOST OF THE CENTER OF THE BREAD IN AN AREA OF 4"
