“Does the water/espresso come into contact with any plastic or metals containing aluminum?”

• The portafilter I believe is stainless steel. There is a bit of plastic between the spout and the basket of the portafilter that can be easily removed with a screwdriver and a little force. It is there for heat retention but I removed mine because...plastic.
