• The filter basket door is made so that it doesn't flop open. That way it doesn't potentially spray water/coffee out. But if it's barely opening, please feel free to file a new Case through this Breville web link https://www.breville.com/us/en/support/breville-support.html with a subject line of BV211007BBMR-1. Also, make sure to add your contact details with phone and email and I will make sure to follow up personally.
