• A:Answer Yes, you just need to put the Coffee directly on the gold filter or use a paper one if you want to. Also need to turn the nob that selects the grinding level all the way to the left until you see Ground Coffee so the grinder is disengaged. Works like a regular drip coffee maker. Happens when you run out of coffee beans unexpectedly but still keep a bag of ground French Roast in the freezer!!!
